Step 1: Get a New Rust Account

Buy a new Rust account from a site like lzt.market or g2g.com

Look for accounts that have been inactive for at least 30 days. These accounts usually last longer and are less likely to be reclaimed by the original owner

(we recommend lzt.market as the accounts have real hours played on them)
Step 2: Change Your IP Address

You need to change your IPv4 address. You can do this manually or by using a VPN

To check if you can do it manually:

Visit whatismyipaddress.com to see your current IPV4 address. (IPV4 is what you need to change.)

Unplug your router for 10 minutes, then plug it back in

Check your IP address again on the website

If it has changed, you have a dynamic IP and can proceed. If not, use a VPN or contact your internet provider to request an IP change (you can say it’s to prevent DDoS attacks if they ask why)

Step 3: Check for HWID Ban

If you’ve been banned before, you need to see if you’re HWID banned:

Buy a new Rust account and play on a server for over 2 hours

If you get permanently banned again, you’re HWID banned and will need an HWID spoofer

If not, you’re in the clear

If HWID banned, get a spoofer here and always run it before launching Rust

Final Step: Prevent Ban Evasion Detection

To avoid detection on official servers with your new account:

Change mac address with tmac: https://technitium.com/tmac/ Then:

Open the Windows Registry Editor

Delete these registry keys:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Valve

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Facepunch

Delete the userdata folder inside the Steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
